Best 12 months of my life.

Today marks the day. March 14th a year ago I decided to ‘do life’ differently. I can’t even begin to tell you how my life has changed this last year. Sure, many notice on the outside… but the astounding results have been what’s changed me on the inside. As a woman, I am more confident in who I am, and who I was created to be. For obvious reasons, people assume I feel better about myself because I lost weight. The truth is, I am more confident because I realize how much stronger I am emotionally and mentally. I’ve accomplished and tried things I never thought I could do. My mood and temperament has changed so drastically. I feel it. And my husband and kids do too. I wish for their sake alone I knew about this years ago. And they wouldn’t have had to live with this hormonally imbalanced, exhausted woman who sometimes was so angry and frustrated that the air around me bothered me. Do I still have stresses? Absolutely. But because my body is in a better place, I can now handle those situations with more patience, and understanding. I sleep amazingly better. When I go to bed, I’m tired. (Not wired) I have a restful sleep, and wake up energized and ready to take on the day. My energy level is higher than when I was in my twenties. And I no longer suffer from brain fog. It becomes your normal everyday life so it doesn’t feel out of the ordinary until you experience something different.
